Really nice walkable city with friendly people and interesting sites. The food scene is still developing: we were looking for amazing seafood experience like in Charleston, but it was not as good as expected. All in all a nice one night stay. The best thing was our hotel, Thompson by Hyatt.

Loved most of the food (much of it was exceptional) and historical buildings and museums.
Should have probably rented a car for at least a day for our length stay. No plantation homes to see here. Needed to drive up toward Charleston.
The biggest complaint I have was the nearly overwhelming amount of homeless on the streets. Oh and no good coffee shops open anywhere in the evenings. (We’re not drinkers)
If I ever go again it would be 5 nights max and would reserve dinner at the pink house for sure.
The dinner river cruise was fine but don’t expect to see much. And don’t package a river cruise AND a dinner cruise. My bad on that.

I love walking on River Street the going seeing all the old historical homes. Also love the close proximity to Tybee Island. However, didn't care for the Tanger Outlet mall on Pooler, they could have added more stores, and also have better clothing options.

We absolutely loved our trip to Savannah.
We absolutely loved our trip to Savannah. The scenery was incredible, the food was wonderful, and there was so much to do. If you have kids, I highly highly recommend visiting the SCAD campus. They have an immersive experience that goes through the story of how SCAD was founded and my 8-year-old daughter absolutely loved it. Right across the street is Gryphon, where we had afternoon tea. She was so impressed by the fact that it was a "real tea party". We also loved our dinner at The Treylor Park. Of course, it is a short drive over to Tybee, where we loved the beach and pizza from Huc-A-Poos.

The Hampton Inn was terrible.
The Hampton Inn was terrible. Rooms were to be ready at 4:00. We did not get in until 5:30. Many people were still waiting at 6:15.
There was a sign on the bathroom mirror stating they would clean rooms every other day. We were there Wednesday - Saturday and no one ever came to our room. We requested more towels and for the trash to be removed on Friday but they never came. Noise above us and beside us wss terrible. The hotel was very short staffed and very unconcerned.

We (group of 5 sisters) had a great time in Savannah.
We (group of 5 sisters) had a great time in Savannah. Lots of good restaurants and we especially enjoyed the museums and the thrift shops in the area. Loved the old cemeteries and the old architecture.
This hotel is in the wonderful historic district. Best to explore Savannah!
Breakfast was better than expected. But for my taste too less Healthy options.
There was a pancake machine, we really liked the pancakes. Yoghurt, cereals, some juices, toast bread, muffin, bagel and butter and spread/honey and of course coffee and tee.
The first day we were late for breakfast and they had not stocked up unfortunately.
We loved the whirlpool on the roof!
And we took the breakfast to the roof!
This motel still embraces you warmly with the charm America used to radiate 20 years ago. So, it might be that you walk down memory lane. The facilities are really clean and in a good condition. There is nothing missing and the coffee is great. The staff is very kind and helpful. I mean, really kind and helpful and not that somehow annoying kindness-boosts-productivity-kindness. Downtown Savannah is just a few miles away and a super marked is around the corner too.
The location of Marshall House was great - very walkable to the riverfront and all downtown attractions. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Our room was a "petite queen", which was small but charming. (Our view was of the roof, but no big deal.} I loved the free breakfast and wine social each night we were there. They even had a harpist the second night, which was phenomenal, as she took requests from everything from Led Zepplin to Canon in D.
The breakfast had no milk for the cereal 2 mornings out of 3. Went down at time stated for breakfast, lady just starting the oatmeal so it was no where near ready. It was a shame because they had many great toppings for the oatmeal. Manager stated delivery trucks not coming for many Savannah area hotels/restaurants. I say go to Kroger and pick up some milk.
We had a fabulous stay over. Nino’s hospitality is truly unique and memorable. The room was great, shower great, location so near to the historic district, everything in a walking range… and the breakfast in the morning… simply fantastic! When we’re back in Savannah we would book again and again in a heartbeat
The breakfast was ok, a couple of products were not available because of COVID restrictions. The room was nice, and the bed very comfortable. The staff was kind an helpful. The location was appropriate and we got to downtown Savannah in 15 minutes and to Tybee in 40 minutes. Plenty of place for free parking.
The hotel is ideally located for a walk around old Savannah. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The wine hour was a nice treat. The breakfast was exceptional - made to order and special (waffles with a generous layer of pecans). The room was big and had a pleasant ambiance.
Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had good variety and value. Many hotels are no longer including continental breakfast, so this was a welcome change. The location was convenient for me to drive to the Savannah Convention Center without dealing with downtown hotel parking.
Very nice hotel in a quiet area (away from the big crowds and the nightlife) but quite nearby to the main attractions of Savannah. The staff were very polite and efficient. The room was spacious and very clean. In all, a very comfortable stay.
The location from this hotel to and from Tybee as well as downtown Savannah was great. The staff was friendly. Easy to check in and out. It was quiet and we did not hear any neighbors next to us or anything in the hallways so that was nice.
Beautifully renovated property evoking the height of Savannah’s prosperous past.
Quiet location, conveniently located for Forsyth Park and 20 minutes walk from Downtown.
Michael was a very welcoming host.
Delicious breakfast.
Great boutique hotel in wonderful location in downtown Savannah. I enjoyed having the onsite restaurant and also being able to walk to dining options downtown. The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean!
Older hotel. It has been recently painted and has new flooring. Has security cameras around the outside. Close to downtown Savannah. There are places to eat close by.
This hotel is in a terrific location on Bay Street in downtown Savannah. The bed and sheets were extremely comfortable. My wife wants to buy the sheets they use!
Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown historic Savannah. Very walkable to everything you would want to see and do. Forsyth Park is about a 15 min. walk away.
